Synopsis

The configuration of interior design projects represents a significant and transcendent opportunity for the life of every human being. The interior environment is the manifesto of the anthropization of the habitable environment and, therefore, the elements that participate in it are a subject of particular and detailed study to achieve the main objective, focused on improving the quality of human life. The Department of Interior Design of the Center for Design and Construction Sciences, at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, has as one of its central objectives the consolidation of a comprehensive vision of the discipline of interior design. An institutional philosophy of interior design that integrates not only professional competencies, but also allows the understanding of the interior scale of inhabiting, an intimate approach between the inhabitant and their living environment, a vision as a catalyst in the methodological process for the construction of a design discourse committed to the relevance, viability and reality of a problem posed. Scales of interior design: Academic experiences in the process of designing the habitable space is the intellectual result of the constant and committed work of the teachers of the academic program of Interior Design over several years of study, experimentation and implementation of knowledge in the university classroom and professional practice.
