THE EX-VOTO PERES MALDONADO (1777), AGUASCALIENTES, MEXICO: An iconographic study
Synopsis
This text revolves around the exploration, analysis, and reflection on the architectural interior space from a pictorial work, the result of a research project at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, and fascinating for its origin: the study of interior design from the perspective of art and the multidisciplinary in which the authors project a recognition of the value of the so-called systems of experiential spaces, structuring around socio-cultural facts a reading of the representation of a little-known ex-voto, but very significant within the geographical and religious context of the state of Aguascalientes.
This discourse offers a perspective on the design of interior space, seen from the dimension of human existence based on the phenomenology of being and space, linking concepts from the philosophical thought of Heidegger, Gadamer, Bachelard and Henri Lefebvre. In particular, I consider that in them there is a success for the understanding of the intimate landscape, which allows to expand the field of recognition and action of the professional of this immediate scale.
