Synopsis

Diverse Perspectives on the Teaching of History. Educational Experiences of History Degrees in Mexico is the title of this book that includes the reflections and debates of the History degrees of the various Mexican universities that make up the National Network of History Degrees and their Academic Bodies (RENALIHCA). The themes of the RENALIHCA meetings (2007-2015) have been a source of continuous discussion and reflection for teachers, researchers, graduates, and students in higher education institutions in the country and in Ibero-America. After these events, new problems have emerged regarding the teaching of history, some innovative projects, and questions about the curricula in the different institutions. Therefore, RENALIHCA and the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes convened the XI Meeting of the National Network of History Degrees and their Academic Bodies, as well as the V Ibero-American Meeting of History Degrees, with the purpose of exchanging experiences and establishing collaborative ties, and thus enriching the training of future historians.
