Synopsis

This book is born out of the need to develop specific histories of the literary production of non-canonical productive groups in Central America, that is, those who, like women, have been marginalized and barely mentioned in traditional academic research, which due to the conservatism of recent periods, have tempered the efforts of alternative and/or counter-discursive academic groups. In this sense, this book responds to the imperative need to rescue from oblivion the literary processes, genres, and writers erased by the Western patriarchal orientation of literary studies.
