About us
The Editorial Department is legally supported by Article 31 of the Organic Law and Statute of the UAA, which refers to the dissemination of the institutional editorial program, including periodical, cultural, scientific publications and book collections reproduced in various formats (print, digital, audiobooks, Braille and eBook); as well as their distribution. It was created in 1998 and has gradually consolidated its activities and increased its annual production, which in 2020 reached a historical total of 647 titles.
Mission and vision
In accordance with the ideology of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, the mission of the Editorial Department is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, science, technology and culture generated in the institution, as a product of the work and creativity of its teachers, researchers and students, through printed and digital books and magazines, thus facilitating the link with the society in which it is inserted and to which it owes.
